Teknotrans AB - Translators

Teknotrans AB was founded by Dieter Hammer in 1971. Dieter was a German translator for Volvo and saw the need for a translation agency specialising in technical translations. The company, based in Gothenburg, has grown over the years and now has a considerably wider range.

Teknotrans AB is a private company, owned by the Hammer family.

Our business concept is to translate commercial texts for trade and industry, as well as for other users of high quality, professional translations. Our translators can handle all languages in most technical areas.

By focusing on this business concept and strategy, we can achieve the quality goals for our operations. We work only with translators who share our ambitions and can fulfil our customers’ demands and expectations. We believe the linguistic quality of a translation should always be at least as high as that of the original text. The facts, message and purpose of the information must be retained throughout the translation process.

Teknotrans AB has a large network of professional translators who translate between most of the world's languages. All are professional translators with technical skills and terminology expertise within their specialty areas. They translate only to their native language.
