CEN certification – a new European standard for translation services

Teknotrans AB has made a considerable contribution to the program and actively participates in the development of the CEN-standard. This is a new European standard for translation services that will apply to all EU and EFTA countries.


J2450

Teknotrans AB works with J2450 which is a standard for measuring the quality of translations. In short, the system involves ongoing random testing of the quality of our translations. Read more about J2450 here.


Liability insurance for translation errors

Teknotrans AB has insurance coverage in the unlikely event that we should deliver a translation containing a serious error that leads to liability for injury to persons, damage to property or financial losses. This coverage provides peace of mind for our customers - in addition to our quality control system.


Teknotrans AB environmental policy

Teknotrans AB provides language services, including translating commercial texts for trade and industry, as well as for other purchasers of high quality, professional translations (government authorities, institutions, etc.). Our business has a marginal effect on the environment but we still think organised action for the environment is the best way to achieve sustainability. That is why we have been environmentally certified according to ISO 14001:2004 since 2007. Our work for the environment is designed to increase the company's environmental awareness. This helps us decrease and prevent negative environmental effects stemming from our operations. By getting our colleagues involved we also encourage environmental awareness outside of the office.
