We support Barnfonden (The Children's fund) 2009
This year Teknotrans chose to support Barnfonden. We contributed to the following projects:
Clean water for children at five schools in India
Five schools in India each get a water tank to store drinking water and a water filter to clean the water. In this way, the children at the school have a more hygienic environment and access to clean and safe drinking water.
A library for children at a school in Ethiopia
The ability to read and write well is a prerequisite for children from the poor countryside to get through school. But it is not easy to learn to read if there are no books. Thanks to donators like Teknotrans, an elementary school in Ethiopia's countryside now has books and bookshelves for a small school library.
